Welcome to the Blog!
Practical sustainability, systems thinking, and doing more with less.
You’ve made it to the blog, thank you for being here.
If you’re curious about sustainability, circular and regenerative systems, and building better efficiencies into life and business so you can do more with less, you’re in the right place. Scroll on to get a feel for what we’re all about, why this space exists, and how you might want to get involved.
Before we dive in, a quick introduction.
I’m Angelica, the face and the thinking behind Resonaverde. This blog is an extension of how I see the world, how I work with businesses and people, and how I believe sustainability should actually function in practice.
What This Blog Is About
At its core, this blog is about reframing the way we think about sustainability.
Not as something abstract, overwhelming, or reserved for policy documents and big corporations, but as a practical way of thinking that can be applied to everyday decisions in both life and business.
I’m a big believer that how you do one thing is how you do everything. The brain works through patterns and neural pathways, so it’s only natural that the way someone approaches decision making in one area of life shows up across many others. When inefficiency, waste, or confusion exists in one place, it usually exists elsewhere too.
This blog is here to help shine a light on those patterns, and offer ways to improve them.
While I do enjoy getting philosophical, everything shared here is backed by facts and paired with strategies that are realistic to implement. These are not theoretical ideas that live in a slide deck and go nowhere. They are clean, clear, and practical approaches that are designed to be used.
Why Sustainability Feels So Complicated
Through my years working in finance, I came across countless business owners and operators who struggled with sustainability. Not because they did not care, but because it felt confusing, time consuming, or disconnected from the day to day reality of running a business.
I saw businesses wasting money, time, effort, and resources left, right, and centre, then feeling completely blindsided when cash flow became tight or tax bills rolled around. It was frustrating to watch, because in so many cases, the answer was sitting right in front of them.
The real issue was not intent. It was awareness.
People often did not truly know what was going on inside their own operations. Things were left to tick along without clear oversight, so the same problems kept repeating themselves. Sustainability, in this sense, is not about perfection. It is about understanding what is actually happening so you can make better decisions.

What Resonaverde Actually Does
At its core, Resonaverde works on sustainability strategy, but not the wishy washy, compliance driven, greenwashing kind.
This is about simple, effective strategies that are designed to be implemented and that often result in saving time, money, and resources.
The process usually starts by looking at what is currently happening inside a business. Operations, people, financials, systems, and decision making processes. From there, we identify what is working well, what is not working so well, and where improvements can realistically be made.
For example, many businesses say they want to work towards net zero, but do not know where to start. It is very hard to set a meaningful target when you do not have a clear picture of your current position.
Let’s narrow it down further. Say you want to transition to more regenerative resources and drastically cut down on waste. I can help you design a project that shows what your decisions today are costing you, and what they could cost after changes are implemented, using simple projections. This kind of clarity allows you to move forward with confidence rather than guesswork.
From there, the focus is on making the plan usable. Procurement is considered, implementation is mapped out, and messaging is developed so your people understand what is changing, why it matters, and how to engage with new initiatives. A strategy that sits unused is not a strategy at all.
Another common example is energy use. If electricity bills are driving you mad, we look at how energy is currently being used, where it is being consumed, and what options exist to reduce those costs. There may be an upfront investment involved, such as considering solar, but in many cases the long term benefits, including credits and reduced operating costs, make it a smart decision.
Every business is different, so every approach is bespoke. There is no cookie cutter solution here. From leadership and operations to supply chains and customer experience, each element is considered as part of a wider system.
Why This Work Matters
Sustainability is often framed as something you add on top of an already busy business or life. I see it differently.
When done well, it creates clarity. It reduces waste. It simplifies decision making. It helps people understand where their resources are going and why certain problems keep showing up.
This work is not about being perfect. It is about being informed, intentional, and proactive.
